I am a Sociologist and Associate Professor at the Institute of Sociology and the School of Public Health at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. My main academic interests are aging and the life course, social inequalities in old age, cross-national studies, and social research methods. Thanks to the support of public grants, and national and international networks, I currently conduct an agenda that aims to understand how employment, family, and health disadvantages and advantages over the life course, impact multiple later life inequalities across countries with different welfare regime orientations.
